Soft Tissue Mass Treatment

Soft tissue masses are a build up, hardening and thickening of the skin under the ball of the foot, due to pressure and friction to the area. They are characterized by pain, redness, soreness and tenderness under the skin. A podiatrist may recommend changing shoes, padding, supports or taping to decrease pressure. Orthotics are also used to help with mobility.
