Osteochondritis Dissecans Procedures

Osteochronditis dissecans affects the joints. Cartilage along with a slim layer of bone becomes unattached from the bone. It is most common in the knee but can affect other joints. Rest and physical therapy are common treatments for osteochondritis dissecans. Rest reduces impact on the joint and sometimes crutches are used. Physical therapy includes stretching, range of motion and strengthening exercises.
