Interventional Neuroradiology

Interventional neuroradiology is a minimally invasive approach for the treatment of vascular diseases and conditions - such as stroke, aneurysms, nerve blocks and brain tumors - that would otherwise require surgery. Widely practiced in interventional neuroradiology is intrathecal injections. Intrathecal injections are made into the space surrounding the spinal canal. The injections are used to decrease or increase the supply of blood to correct abnormalities.
