Antepartum Testing

Antepartum testing is performed late in pregnancy (typically after 32 weeks) to confirm the health of the fetus as determined by the baby's heart rate and other factors.

This testing includes a biophysical profile, a contraction stress test and a nonstress test. These tests utilize electronic fetal monitoring and ultrasound examinations and are noninvasive, safe and comfortable.
