Catheter Angiography

Catheter Angiography

A catheter is placed into a vein, usually in the arm. Once the catheter is in place, contrast material (dye) is injected through the tube and images are taken using x-rays, computed tomography (CT) scans or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans. This test is used to evaluate blood vessels in the abdomen, brain, heart, legs, lungs, neck and pelvis.

If you would like to schedule an imaging exam, please schedule online or call (855) 269-4333. To find an imaging center near you, please view our locations.
