CT Discography

Computed tomography (CT) discography is a procedure helping physicians determine if a disc is the source of a patient's back or neck pain. While a contrast material (dye) is injected into the patient's disc, the reaction to the injection is observed to determine if that area is the source of pain. Typically a CT scan is done following the procedure to observe any changes or tears in the disc.
