Robotic Surgery

Robotic surgery uses small surgical tools connected to a robotic arm. The surgeon uses a computer to direct the robotic arm. A small tube with a camera allows the surgeon precise and detailed images of the area of the operation. Robotic surgery uses smaller surgical incisions than open surgery. Robotic surgery has been used in surgeries of the heart, gallbladder, kidneys, hips, gynecological organs, abdomen and reproductive organs.
