Antiparietal Cells Antibodies Test

An antiparietal cells antibody test is a blood test that identifies antibodies against parietal cells. Parietal cells produce a matter necessary for the body to take in vitamin B12. This test may be conducted if an individual has symptoms of pernicious anemia. Pernicious anemia is a reduction of red blood cells due to an insufficient amount of vitamin B12 in the body.
