Endoscopic Esophageal Ultrasound (EUS)

Endoscopic esophageal ultrasound uses a device with an ultrasound to see inside a patient's esophagus. The procedure looks for tumors in the esophagus and nearby areas. The device may also assist a physician in performing a biopsy of abnormal tissue.
