Curriculum

Each year consists of thirteen four-week block rotations. Four weeks of inpatient/core rotations, followed by two weeks of ambulatory/continuity clinic and two weeks of inpatient/outpatient elective or educational experience. Residents have varying schedules based on their individual training track, with each providing an excellent foundation in general internal medicine and subspecialty care. All residents are assigned to an outpatient primary care clinic within the BayCare Health System, where they spend two weeks every six weeks learning primary care through longitudinal patient care.
