BayCare Names New Vice President of HomeCare Experience and Operations

Clearwater, Fla., (September 25, 2018)BayCare Health System has named Kathryn A. McGuire the new vice president of HomeCare Experience and Operations. BayCare HomeCare, which serves 13 counties, is the second largest provider of homecare services across the state of Florida. 

McGuire, who was the senior vice president of Home and Community Services, Behavioral Health and Programs of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) at Rochester Regional Health in Rochester, New York, will help develop objectives and operating plans for BayCare HomeCare services.

“McGuire brings decades of strong leadership experience and knowledge in HomeCare,” said Jim Cote, senior vice president for Ambulatory Services at BayCare. “We’re thrilled to have her join our team and help move forward the BayCare HomeCare strategic goals and priorities.”

McGuire comes to BayCare with more than 30 years of innovative leadership experience in health care – focusing on performance improvement, patient experience, financial oversight and accountability and employee satisfaction.

During her tenure at Rochester Regional Health, McGuire led the development and expansion efforts in many areas within the system including palliative care and PACE, home health, hospice and infusion pharmacy. She also helped lead strategic initiatives in clinical integration, patient experience, senior services and post-acute care, care management and behavioral health.

Prior to joining Rochester Regional Health, she held executive leadership positions at ArchCare, Fidelis Care New York and Catholic Health System of Buffalo.

McGuire completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the Molloy College and master’s degree in health systems administration at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
