Case management and other support services are also available to assist individuals with service linkage and monitoring related to their behavioral health, medical, housing, employment and other related needs.
Other community services such as psycho-educational groups, parenting programs and free community presentations are also offered.
Board Certified/Eligible Psychiatrists and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners provide psychiatric evaluation and diagnostic services, and prescribe and manage psychotropic medications. They work closely with nurses and a contracted on site pharmacy to provide coordinated care.
Special services for adults and their families throughout Polk, Highlands and Hardee counties are provided through contracts with the state of Florida’s Department of Children and Families and the Polk County Indigent HealthCare Division.
