Clinton R. HallClinton R. Hall, MD

Clinton R. Hall, MD, was born at South Florida Baptist Hospital and graduated from Plant City High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology, graduating Suma Cum Laude, from Cumberland College in Williamsburg, Kentucky, and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Hall served his internship and completed his residency as Chief Administrative Resident at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He continued there as Assistant Professor of Surgery and completed a Fellowship in minimally invasive, bariatric and robotic-assisted surgery.

Dr. Hall’s clinical interests include laparoscopic bariatric surgery, application of the da Vinci robotic system in anti-reflux procedures, and laparoscopic complex abdominal hernia repair.

Stephen ButlerStephen Butler, MD

Stephen Butler, MD, is a board-certified surgeon who has been affiliated with South Florida Baptist Hospital since 1992. He has been a past-president of the hospital medical staff and has served on every major medical staff committee. Dr. Butler practices general and vascular surgery with a special interest in laparoscopic surgery, robotic and minimal access surgery. He is a consultant surgeon for Ethicon Endosurgery and a faculty member of Nova-Southeastern University.

Carlos LamoutteCarlos Lamoutte, MD

Carlos Lamoutte, M.D., joined the staff of South Florida Baptist Hospital in 2000. He is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the Florida Medical Association. He has served on various South Florida Baptist Hospital medical staff committees and as past president of the medical staff.  Dr. Lamoutte is also fluent in Spanish to better serve Hispanic patients. He is a volunteer physician with the San Jose Mission and serves on the advisory board of the Pregnancy Care Center.

Eugenio QuinonesEugenio Quinones, M.D, FACOG

Eugenio Quinones ,M.D. has been certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2006. He received his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and did his residency there. Dr. Quinones is experienced in performing robotic surgeries including laparoscopic ovarian cystectomies, salpingo-oophorectomies, hysterectomy procedures, excision of endometriosis, preservation of ovaries and reconstruction for return to normal fertility.

Ana VerdjaAna Verdja, MD

Ana Verdeja, MD, has been certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1998. She received her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and did her residency there. Dr. Verdeja has a special clinical interest in robotic-assisted gynecologic procedures, including laparoscopic hysterectomy, excision of endometriosis, removal of endometriosis chocolate cysts with reconstruction, preservation of ovaries and return of normal fertility.

Urologic Surgery 

Mark B. BakerMark B. Baker, MD, FACS

Dr. Baker graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2000 and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. From 2000 to 2005, he finished a general surgery internship and urology residency at the University of South Florida, which included training at Tampa General Hospital, James A. Haley VA, Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital, and Moffitt Cancer Center. He has been in private practice in Brandon and Sun City Center since August of 2005. Dr. Baker became board certified in urology in 2007. Besides caring for all aspects of general urology, Dr. Baker's clinical interests include female urology and voiding dysfunction, minimally invasive therapies for benign prostatic hypertrophy, and laparoscopic surgery, including robotic prostatectomy.

Jamil Rehman, MD, is a board-certified urologist and urology surgeon who has been affiliated with South Florida Baptist Hospital since 2009.  Dr. Rehman practices urologic surgery with a special interest in laparoscopic surgery, robotic and minimal access surgery.

Matthew SheldonMatthew Sheldon, MD

Matthew Sheldon, MD, received his bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Pittsburgh and his Doctor of Medicine from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. His urology residency was completed at Georgetown University Hospital, and his training includes laparoscopic surgery, robotic and minimally invasive surgery. Robotic procedures he performs include radical prostatectomy, radical cystectomy, radical nephrectomy, partial nephrectomy, sacrocolpopexy and reconstructive procedures of the urologic system.
