2020 Camp Living Springs Is Going Virtual!
In our ongoing efforts to help keep our communities safe during this time of COVID-19, Camp Living Springs is going virtual on October 16, 2020. This event is at no cost to our cancer survivor. This year’s camp provides adult cancer survivors to virtually get away from the cares of their world. Camp Living Springs' mission is to promote camaraderie in spirit, and relaxation of those touched by cancer.
When is Camp Living Springs held?
This year's virtual camp is Friday, October 16, 2020 and will be a live presentation.
(On Saturday, October 17, 2020 expanded sessions for camp will be available online.)
Who sponsors the camp?
Camp Living Springs is presented by Morton Plant Mease Volunteer Resources.
Funding is provided by a grant from Morton Plant Mease Health Care Foundation.
Who can attend camp?
To be eligible, campers must be age 18 or older and been diagnosed with cancer.
Campers will need to have internet access to view virtual camp.
What is the campsite like?
During virtual camp we will be sharing the lovely Day Spring Retreat grounds that is spread out over 100 acres of beautiful, rustic, and wooded property in Ellenton, FL
Where is the camp located?
A comfortable place in your home with a small work area to participate in some of the activities. Internet connection is required.
