Kid Care: Checkups

Doctor with stethoscope listening to toddler's chest.

How often should your child see a healthcare provider? Of course, when he or she is sick. But your child also needs wellness checkups. Take your child to see his or her healthcare provider according to the schedule below. (If your healthcare provider gives you a different schedule, follow that.) During these wellness visits, the healthcare provider will examine your child. He or she will also assess how your child is developing.
