Newborn Care

The fee covers the expectant parent plus one guest. Class covers holding techniques, swaddling, feeding, hygiene care, diapering, bathing, soothing and other topics regarding infant and child care. No refunds for cancellations less than two weeks from the date that the class starts. There are no refunds for no-shows and/or partial attendance. Rescheduling is available at any time at Morton Plant Hospital or Mease Countryside Hospital for the same class. Exceptions for refunds: Written documentation of medical emergency, early delivery (birth), bed rest, other illness or requested by Education Specialist. Healthy Start participants must call to register and bring the referral form in order to attend.
