Veteran and Family Support Services

Veteran and Family Support Services offers free support groups to provide emotional support and assistance to veterans and their families. Our Veterans Resource Center, located in New Port Richey, offers support to active military, veterans and their families. This program is designed for those who are in need of intervention, counseling, peer navigation and outreach services.

  • Veterans Intervention Program (VIP)
    Veterans Intervention Program (VIP) offers direct and non-direct services to veterans and their families through solution-focused outpatient counseling, residential treatment, case management, outreach and incidental funding. Peer Navigators are assigned to each referral and assist with screening, coordination of needed assessments and outlining the resources available.
  • Veteran Resource Center (VRC) 
    Navigation and linkage to care for veterans and their families. Linkage to outreach, case management, outpatient and residential services provided through the Center in Pasco County.
  • Veteran Treatment Court (VTC)
    Veterans with a substance use disorder that were arrested and charged with non-violent third degree felony crimes related to their substance use receive screening, assessment and treatment as part of the court voluntary program in Pasco County.
