Wanda Cruz Knight MD Named Residency Program Director

 USF-Morton Plant Mease Family Medicine Residency

CLEARWATER, Fla., (April 10, 2017) – Wanda Cruz-Knight, MD, has been selected as the new residency program director for the USF-Morton Plant Mease Family Medicine Residency at the Turley Family Health Center.

Dr. Cruz-Knight previously served as residency program director and interim chair of family medicine at University Hospitals Case Medical Center Family Medicine and Community Health in Cleveland.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Oberlin College and her doctoral degree from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and later completed the Executive Masters’ of Business Administration program at Monte Ahuja School of Business at Cleveland State University.

Dr. Cruz-Knight became licensed to practice medicine in Ohio in 2007 and has been board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine since 2001.
