CLEARWATER, Fla., (April 20, 2016) -- Duane Houtz, former Morton Plant Hospital President and historian, will discuss the hospital’s history and its relationship with the community Wednesday, May 11 at 5 p.m. at the Clearwater Public Library, 100 N Osceola Ave., Clearwater.

The public is invited to this free event that is part of Morton Plant Hospital’s 100th Anniversary celebration. Light refreshments will be served.

Houtz served as Morton Plant Hospital’s president from 1977 until 1992. During that time, he earned the wide respect of doctors, board members, team members and community members as he guided the hospital through times of tremendous growth and change.
