At St. Joseph’s Hospital-South, our state-of-the-art Adult Infusion Center is committed to improving survival and enhancing quality of life for our cancer patients. Our dedicated team of oncologists work together to fight cancer one patient at a time through education, prevention, detection, treatment and supportive services. We strive to offer customized treatment plans to every individual, emphasizing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Our center offers the following services and treatments:
- Transfusion service
- Chemotherapy
- Port or catheter care
- Supportive injections
- Lab work
- Intravenous hydration or antibiotics
The length of each infusion therapy session varies based on the specific treatment needed and personal circumstances of each cancer patient.
Our calming environment provides:
- Easy parking and valet
- Full-service hospital access, in case of emergency
- Oncology & chemotherapy certified nurses
- Safe, private and comfortable infusion areas
- Space for a relative or friend
- Individual TVs
