Staying Safe
The first lines of defense are hand washing, mask wearing and keeping social distance.
As we return to work and school, BayCare’s Back to School resources have tools for you and your children, including advice for how to help children of all ages cope during the pandemic.
There’s also advice about restarting any activities outside your home. And suggestions for how adults can stay motivated and mentally healthy during this time, from advice on sleep, diet, exercise (at home or the gym), to keeping your home germ free.
Should someone in your home come down with COVID, we have tips as well for how to help them recover and avoid further spread in your home, if possible.
Medical Care
Should your family need medical care, know your BayCare physicians and facilities have done all they can to make sure you stay safe. Our new normal at BayCare facilities includes increased
safeguards to keep everyone safe.
We’re also greatly expanding telehealth options to provide quality alternatives for those who seeking them, including scheduled
primary care and specialist visits, on-demand care through
BayCareAnywhere,
walk-in care at local Publix supermarkets, appointments with
Behavioral Health and enhancing our
HomeCare to provide alternatives to in-person visits when possible.
Been exposed or suspect you have COVID?
We have resources for you, too. Use our checklist to determine if you meet the definition of exposure. Try our Online Screening Tool that uses Centers for Disease Prevention and Control guidelines to help guide you to your next step. And should you need a test, we can safely administer one for you through our drive-thru testing sites across the West Central Florida region.
