Eye Examinations

A standard eye examination is a group of tests to evaluate health of the eyes and vision ability. Methods used include charts and refraction tests that involve passing lenses in front of the eyes. Things evaluated include 3D vision, peripheral vision, eye muscle strength, pupils, retinas, blood vessels and optic nerves. An individual is also evaluated for glaucoma, color blindness, cataracts and macular degeneration.
