St. Anthony's Primary Care

St. Anthony's Primary Care is a nonprofit group of board-certified or board-eligible primary care physicians serving central and south Pinellas County.

Our group requires all our Internal Medicine and Family Practice physicians to become Board certified in their specialty. Their training comes from the most prestigious medical schools and residency programs in the country. Please visit our Physician Finder to search for physicians and to read their bios for more information.

In 2014, St. Anthony's Primary Care, along with three other medical groups within BayCare Health System, merged to become collectively known as BayCare Medical Group. We are now the largest multi-specialty group in the Tampa Bay area, more than 500 providers located throughout five counties in west central Florida. Our doctors are affiliated with the hospitals of BayCare.

Our Values

We are committed to creating an environment for our customers that is friendly, compassionate and safe. It is a privilege that members of our community have trusted us with their health care needs. We must earn this trust every day.

St. Anthony's Primary Care believes in a strong values system as the foundation for all its activities. We have embraced the St. Anthony's values of trust, dignity, respect, excellence and responsibility.

It is critical that our clinical relationships are built on trust between the patient and the physician, and that the dignity of the patient is maintained throughout all encounters. As health care continues moving toward "commodity" status, we often see patient dignity sacrificed for efficiency, or simply overlooked entirely. Trust and dignity are born of mutual respect between the patient and the care provider.

We also value true excellence in medical care. This is supported by the quality of physicians we accept to our group and the dozens of programs designed to access and continually improve all areas of service and outcomes.

Finally, we value our responsibility to our patients, staff and the entire community we serve. Each member of the St. Anthony's Primary Care team is expected to take responsibility to ensure that the level of care provided to our patients is the best that it can possibly be. If there is room for improvement, our focus is not on blame but on fixing the problem and improving our service.
