Since 1953, South Florida Baptist Hospital has been a trusted and loved hospital for all our community’s health and wellness needs. Our compassionate and caring team of experts, including nearly 800 team members and 250 physicians, work diligently to make sure that you receive high-quality care when you visit the hospital. Our 147-bed hospital offers many more services than a standard community hospital, as we’re part of the BayCare family of health care facilities. We’re currently building a new hospital that’s scheduled to open during 2024.

How to Visit our Patients
BayCare knows a loved one's attention can be key to a patient's recovery. Our visitation policies support those interactions while also ensuring the safety of our patients, team members and providers.
Gift Shop & Dining
Alexander's Cafe is located on the first floor of the hospital. The cafe is open from 7am to 7pm, seven days a week. They serve a rotating variety of buffet items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, vending is located throughout the hospital for after hours convenience. Flowers and gifts are provided by Creative Flower Designs by Glenn.
