I thought my appointment was my routine annual exam in addition to my 6-month follow-up for my lipid issues. Dr. Eberhard did not examine me at all, no checking of the heart, no breathing check, nothing. He did go over my labs but never mentioned my medication. I assume because he didnt say anything about my medication that he didnt want to change anything, but I felt it was weird he didnt mention it. Also, I had lost over 12% body weight since my last visit, and he didnt mention that either. Overall, I feel Dr. Eberhard is nice and Im sure hes qualified, but his super laid-back vibe makes me feel like he doesnt really care that much.

My main medical issues right now are being treated by specialists. When I told him what was going on, he was willing to listen. I asked about a borderline lab result and he agreed to put me on med to bring level down. We also joke with each other sometimes, which makes the visit more pleasant.

Blood work for diagnostic purposes is complete, but I have yet to hear from the provider to discuss.

He needs to learn more about my medical history, for example the surgeries I have had, cancer history, etc.

For two years after my annual physical I received no follow up to discuss lab results. I had to call. This year I received a call back from a non medical person who could not answer my follow up questions and had to call me back again.

Is it to much to have a doctor to listen to your chest even with diagnosed chf with out asking now Ill wait for my cardiologist to do it in three months.
