BayCare Hosts Rockin’ Recovery Benefit Concert
CLEARWATER, FL – September 9, 2009 – In recognition of National Recovery Month, BayCare Behavioral Health along with its partners WestCare Gulfcoast Florida and the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence Tampa Bay is presenting the 6th Annual Rockin’ Recovery concert and silent auction on Saturday, September 26th at 6:00 p.m. R&B artist Early Clover and MoBetta will both perform at the event, which will be held at the James B. White Performing Arts Center on the campus of Clearwater Central Catholic High School. Clover performs original songs and tributes to legendary artists such as Marvin Gaye, Nat King Cole and the Carpenters. He is a former member of Gunter’s Coasters, a spin off group of the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers The Coasters. Tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased in advance by calling 877-692-2922. As part of the event, Bob Holm of the Florida Department of Children and Families, Suncoast and Goliath Davis, III, the Deputy Mayor of the City of St. Petersburg will be presented with The Arnold Andrews Humanitarian Leadership Award by WestCare Gulfcoast Florida. Silent Auction items include Tampa Bay Rays packages, Caribbean and North Carolina vacation packages, tickets to the Outback Pro Am Golf tournament and much more. In support of Rockin’ Recovery, the Tampa Bay Rays are offering $25 tickets to the October 2nd baseball game against the New York Yankees. A portion of ticket sales will benefit programs at BayCare Behavioral Health. Tickets to the game will be available at the Rockin’ Recovery event or by calling BayCare Health System at 877-692-2922.
